This week’s challenge was to shoot a reflection so I placed a mirror in my dining room and my cat started playing with his toy in front of the mirror.

This week’s topic is Mood, interpreted any way we like. I’m not sure how to describe Elijah’s mood when he goes to the dog park but he is the one who monitors the situation and lets everyone know in the most gentle way if they are getting out of line or playing too roughly. He is very strong and almost 100 pounds, with the most loving and happy personality. I’m sure I’m not the only dog lover who thinks this about their special friend! This is an image of Elijah at the dog park, with his nose twisted to the side and his eyes looking the other direction so he doesn’t miss anything.

Now check out Sharon Stokes’ mood and keep going around the blog ring to see more great pet photography from talented photographers around the globe.

This week, I had the pleasure of snowshoeing near Collingwood with a wonderful young couple and their black lab. When I told them that this week’s theme is noses, they helped me get some amazing shots of their dog, Jet. Incidentally, we still have lots of snow at Blue Mountain!

I was contemplating how much my family means to me when I read the quotes, the Love of a Family is Life’s Greatest Blessings and a Picture is Worth a Thousand Words. Of course, we’ve all heard the second one many times over but I actually have a photograph that illustrates both of these quotes! Isn’t this beautiful? Enjoy your family!
